We were commissioned by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) to produce a short documentary that brings their Heritage Collections to life. This film offers viewers an intimate look into RCSI’s rich history, showcasing a diverse array of artifacts, manuscripts, medical instruments, and artworks that chronicle the evolution of medicine and surgery in Ireland since 1784. Through expert interviews and detailed visuals, we highlight the meticulous efforts of RCSI’s Heritage team in preserving and curating these invaluable materials, ensuring they remain accessible for education, research, and public engagement. Our documentary not only celebrates the legacy of RCSI but also underscores the importance of safeguarding medical heritage for future generations.
